Reading of my Work

One of the few things that really bother me is listening to someone reading aloud something I've written. In my mind, I know how I would read aloud my stories, and people generally fall short in a way that completely drives me mad. I'd like Mr. Creepypasta to read one of my works, as I feel he has the practice to tell it in a way I would approve of.
But, as it so often happens, one of Mr. Creepypasta's followers took my story Crimson Grove and read it aloud on his youtube channel. It is an interesting interpretation, and I appreciate the love of my work that someone must feel to read my work on a video; I just shiver at the idea of my work being read aloud.
My wife has queried whether or not I would have an issue with reading my stories aloud to a group of people. Since I've never had problems with public speaking and I know my work, I think I'd do fine. Would probably need some practice, though.
Anyway, here's the story told by Captain Creepypasta:

Five Nights at Freddy's

This video game came online a few years ago, introducing a new type of horror game. I played the first one, where you have to manage your electricity while watching out for mechanical costumed characters that will try and kill you by shoving you into a spare suit.

The original created a few spin-offs, which inspired a song that I've been listening to for inspiration when writing horror as of late. It's Nightcore, which means it's techno, but give it a listen and see if you like the lyrics.

I wouldn't recommend the game for anyone who is faint of heart as it has a plethora of jump scares and a great sense of dread as the automatons slowly encroach on you, stalking you so they can jump you before the night ends.

For those of you with a strong enough stomach, you can get the game from here, where you can acquire a Steam gaming key for all four games.

Not for children, as this one is a little spooky compared to others I've posted. Good luck!

Dark Moon Digest #22

     Previous
Been a while since I spoke of Dark Moon Digest, though not for any ill reasons to speak of. I just haven't been submitting to them for roughly a year. They also ran Dark Eclipse Magazine, an online magazine that I was a columnist for roughly two years. When that shut-down, I'd submitted a lot of stories elsewhere and didn't have any to spare for the Digest. I know a weak reason not to send them any of my work. After all, they're the first place I was published with "Everybody Needs a Hobby", so I'll always have a special place in my heart for that disturbing publisher.
The reason I choose to shed some light on this topic is that as of January 3rd, Dark Moon Digest #22 was published and is now available for purchase online at Amazon (either for kindle or paperback). Just click the image to be whisked away to horror heaven!
